I received this card from former Mets pitcher Rick Ownbey today. Ownbey is best remembered by Mets fans as a part of the trade that brought Keith Hernandez to New York.
I recently purchased signed cards of eight former Mets, which also arrived today. I think Ryan Thompson probably had the longest tenure in New York; most of these guys just had cups of coffee. To be honest, I can’t even recall Brian Rose suiting up for the Mets, though he appeared in three games in 2001.
