Dan Boitano was nice enough to sign this card for me through the mail. It’s from the 1991 Wiz set that featured every ballplayer who played for the Mets from 1962 up until it was issued. As far as I know, it’s the only card that Boitano had picturing him in a Mets uniform.

Boitano spent parts of five different seasons in the Major Leagues from 1978-1982, with the Phillies, Brewers, Mets and Rangers. Over those five years, Boitano got into 51 big league games… 15 for the 1981 Mets. Both of Boitano’s career victories came while wearing Mets blue & orange.
