Brad Salmon made his Major League debut for the Cincinnati Reds on May 1, 2007. In 26 relief appearances, he pitched 24 innings and averaged just under a strikeout per inning. Unfortunately, when he wasn’t striking batters out, he was very hittable… to the tune of a .327 opponents’ batting average against.
Salmon is currently in camp with the Reds as a non-roster invitee and is a longshot to win a bullpen job.
