Everybody else is playing with Allen & Ginter, but I think I’ll wait a bit and try to get the Mets team set & the legendary critters off eBay.  But that doesn’t mean I skipped a trip to the card shop — I went back to look for the other box of 1999 Upper Deck HoloGrFX cards I thought I saw on Thursday.

I had fun opening the first box I bought and managed to get two-thirds of the 60-card set. I was hoping I could finish it with a second box. Unfortunately, I wasn’t that lucky. I’m five cards short: 9, 19, 29, 36 & 54.

I do have plenty of doubles, in the unlikely event anyone else is still working on the ten year old set. Feel free to contact me if you are looking for any 1999 Upper Deck HoloGrFX cards, even if you don’t have the ones I need.
