I want to wish everybody a happy Thanksgiving.

I’m sure just about everybody will be busy for the next few days, so last night’s “Autograph of the Day” post will probably be the last baseball card / autograph one this week.

I’ll be around this weekend (though I suspect I’ll be otherwise occupied tomorrow) and I’ll probably post a bit if I get bored. For a site that boasts “random stuff,” I haven’t had much randomness lately… so I’ll try to fix that this weekend if I have a chance.

Today’s “Card of the Day” is a good start. In 2001, Score Entertainment put out a Buffy the Vampire Slayer Collectible Card Game. Before they gave up the license, they put out three sets: the original Pergamum Prophecy set, featuring cards from the show’s first season; Angel’s Curse, with cards from season two; and Class of ‘99, featuring cards from season three. I have a fair number of the cards, but I’m missing the ultra-rares, a lot of the promos and a few rares.

This “To Be Continued” card is one of ten promos from the Angel’s Curse expansion; I think it was sent out to everyone on Score’s Buffy CCG mailing list when the set came out. I couldn’t tell you what it does; it’s been far too long since I played the game — I collected these cards more than I played with them anyway.

I’d be surprised if it turned out to be a very exciting card… but it did seem like a perfect choice to announce a brief blog hiatus.

I’m guessing there’s not much point in posting a Buffy trade list, but email me if you can help or if you’re looking for anything.
